What do you wish people knew about working at Pall?

Pall is more than just an engineering company! There are numerous opportunities within the organization, and Pall is genuinely committed to developing its people. The long tenure of many employees, some of whom have been with Pall for over 40 years, is a testament to this commitment.

What does the 2025 International Women’s Day slogan, #AccelerateAction, mean to you and your work life?

My motto has always been, ‘its better to ask for forgiveness, than ask for permission’ and this years slogan is perfectly aligned with this. Take action, whether in your professional or personal life, we are all masters of our own destiny, be the change you want to see, don’t wait for things to happen.

Based on your own experience, what advice would you give to women considering pursuing a career in your field?

I would advise women considering a career in the aerospace industry to embrace their passion and curiosity for the field. It's important to seek out mentors and role models who can provide guidance and support throughout your career journey. Don't be afraid to take on challenging projects and showcase your skills and expertise. Networking is also crucial, so make an effort to connect with other professionals in the industry. Lastly, always believe in your abilities and stay resilient in the face of obstacles. The aerospace industry offers incredible opportunities for growth and innovation, and your unique perspective can make a significant impact.

Nicole Diegel: Director Human Resources, New York

Are you involved with any associate resource groups (ARGs) here? If so, which ones and what’s your favorite part of being involved?

I am a part of the Women's and Friends ARG. My favorite part about being a part of this ARG is the networking opportunities and informational sessions that are offered to members.

What does the 2025 International Women’s Day slogan, #AccelerateAction, mean to you and your work life?

To me, accelerate action means that we all must work together and collaboratively to speed up the rate of change and actions. The goal is to move from awareness to actionable items that have positive impact for gender equality.

Based on your own experience, what advice would you give to women considering pursuing a career in your field?

Working in field of Human Resources you have the opportunity to make a positive impact by supporting associates throughout the organization and touch the lives of more people than you may imagine. Much like in life there will be good days and bad days, but it has been incredibly rewarding to look back on the positive impacts I have made over the years I have been in Human Resources. So, my advice would be to not let the bad days overcome your positivity and journey in your career.

What are you passionate about outside the office?

I enjoy staying active and have hobbies that include Skiing, hiking, and playing in adult sport leagues.

Julia and Nicole are shining examples of the impact women can have in their respective fields. Their stories inspire us to take action, embrace challenges, and drive positive change. This International Women's Day, let's celebrate the achievements of women like Julia and Nicole and continue to #AccelerateAction towards gender equality.
