Every career journey starts somewhere. For many early-career professionals, an internship is where classroom learning becomes real-world experience, where new skills are tested, and where curiosity turns into confidence. At Pall, interns contribute to meaningful projects across our sites and business units while learning from teams focused on solving complex customer and operational challenges.

This National Intern Day in the U.S. this month, we connected with two engineering interns based in Cortland, New York to learn more about the projects they are supporting, the skills they are building and what has stood out most from their time at Pall.

Matthew Delasandro

  • Current student: Wallace H. Coulter School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Clarkson University
  • Current role and location: Engineering intern at Pall in Cortland, New York

Logan Bell

  • Current student: College of Engineering Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology
  • Current role and location: Engineering intern at Pall in Cortland, New York

For Matthew and Logan, the internship experience at Pall has created opportunities to apply technical knowledge, contribute to continuous improvement and learn from teams with deep manufacturing expertise. Their projects may differ, but both experiences point to the same value of an internship: building confidence through hands-on work, collaboration and continuous learning.
